Welcome to Warkworth Old Post Office

Warkworth Old Post Office Lounge

A warm welcome awaits you at Warkworth Old Post Office Bed and Breakfast situated on the picturesque Northumberland coast.

We offer a comfortable stay in an area of rich historical interest, where you can find relaxation in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Warkworth Old Post Office, now a grade II listed building, is constructed from stone, reportedly pilfered from the nearby castle hundreds of years ago! It functioned as a Post Office for almost a century until 2003, when the Post Office was relocated nearby. The bed and breakfast has in the distant past also served as an ale house, serving refreshments to weary travellers. The serving hatch through which beer was dispensed can still be seen today.

We can accommodate cyclists and walkers as we have cycle storage and drying facilities. We are open all year round.
